Considered the quintessential casino game, Blackjack calls for all players to play against the dealer. Each player is dealt two cards. The dealer gets one card face down. The object is for the point value of your hand to beat that of the dealer’s without exceeding 21. If you go over 21, or “bust,” you lose. Each card takes its numerical value except face cards, which each count as 10. The Ace counts either as 1 or 11; it’s your choice.
Derived from a French word meaning “small wheel,” Roulette is one of the most popular games in our casino. The roulette wheel features the numbers 1 through 36 in alternating red and black, and one green space which is “0.” Players can be on a single number, a row or column of numbers, red or black, odd or even, or 1 through 18 or 19 through 36. Players place their chips on the betting layout. Betting continues until the dealer signals, “No more bets.” When the ball comes to rest on a number, all wagers are settled. Odds range from even money to 35 to 1.
Three Card Poker is two games in one, offering three ways to bet and fours ways to win. Players first make an ante bet. Then each player and the dealer receive three cards. Players can then make either a “play” wager equal to the ante to stay in the hand, or fold and forfeit the ante. Both the ante and play bets are wagered against the dealer’s hand. The dealer’s hand plays with a Queen high or better.
Ultimate Texas Hold’em is a poker-based casino game in which the player may make one raise at any time during the course of the hand. The earlier the raise is made the higher it may be. Unlike other poker-based games, raises made after the ante still have action, even if the dealer doesn’t open.
